Junior athletes from around the state had extraordinary seasons with incredibly fast times and stellar performances. There were high placers at meets throughout the State tournament and post-season meets like Team Regionals, Champs Midwest, and RunningLane.
Cameron Todd of Brebeuf Jesuit ran the fastest time among the Junior Class when he broke 15 minutes at the Twilight meet in October. Carmel's Anthony Provenzano was just behind in time with a best of 15:01 during the tournament. These two were the top of the class as they ran the same time at the State Meet where Provenzano was awarded runner-up honors after a photo finish. Todd will also be competing at Champs Nationals in San Diego on December 10th to compete with the best in the nation.
