Though there wasn't a ton of representation from this class at the State cross country meet last year, this is a group that had a great track season and is already coming on strong early in this young XC season. It starts at the top with Fishers sophomore Sam Quagliaroli (pictured above) who has consistently been the best of his class with the highest placing finish at last years state meet for freshmen (39th) and then also winning the freshmen mile at the Flashes Showcase this past spring. Mason Nobles of Valparaiso was the 2nd highest placing freshmen at the state meet last year and will look to help propel the Vikings this season along with two other returning sophomores that made this list. Already making a name for himself this year among the Sophomore class is Liam Bauschke of Mishawaka.
