Ben Miller gives on final stride to finish a grueling 2016 State Meet

Out of this year's Carmel team, Miller
definitely comes in with the most experience, having run in 3 state meets
already. Last season he was just another one to be setback by the heat (80
degrees at the start, record high). He ultimately bounced back from that low to
take 3rd at state in the 3200. Miller is apart of this year's super
strong senior class, so if he wants to make All-State, he will need to push
himself a little harder than he has before on the Lavern Gibson course and do
his best to stay near the lead pack for at least the 1st K to be in
a good position the rest of the race. Ben benefits greatly from also having
teammates that are at the same level as him, with 5 others also racing sub-16.
