Indiana was well represented at the Lloyd Wright Memorial Distance Classic this past Saturday on the campus of Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Several Cross Country All-State athletes and their teammates took part in the mostly 3200m event.

Columbus North's Reese Kilbarger-Stumpf won the boys event with a fantastic time of 8:54.76 to win by almost 9 seconds. Abe Eckman from Jasper was a very close third in the meet, almost breaking the 9:00 mark himself with a fine time of 9:03.58, just getting nipped at the line by Landen McNair from the Bartlett TC.

Matthew Newell, Columbus North, and Spenser Wolf, Forest Park, were next from Indiana. Newell was timed in 9:17.14, good for 11th place. Wolf was right behind him in 9:18.04 in 12th overall. Will Conway (Floyd Central), Alex Hooten (Evansville Central), Aiden Lord (New Albany), and Cole Raymond (LaPorte) all finished in the Top 20 and all just dipped under 9:30.
