Elite Entries Galore at the Warsaw Tiger Showcase #2

Several Girls Doubling in the 800m

Above: Ava Jarrell would take the overall win last weekend at the IR Invitational.

The state lead for the girls 800m of 2:16.82 set by Noblesville's Brinkley Cooper could go down this weekend as heat eight has six entries listed with seed times under 2:20. Joey Rastrelli holds the best seed with a 2:14.99 with Ciara Kepner from Hamilton Southeastern right behind at a 2:15.00. Both have ran a time of 2:20 recently heading into the meet.

Mallory Weller is currently ranked third in the state and will look to move up this weekend after running to a 2:17.58 at Grand Valley two weeks ago. Ava Jarrell's 800m race at the Indiana Runner Indoor Invitational where she ran a 2:18.37 puts her fourth in the state. Henriette Schminke from West Lafayette, Ella Colclesser from Huntington North, and round out the sub 2:20 seeded entries for this weekend.

We should expect to see a massive shakeup to the leaderboard, especially in the girls 800m this weekend.
