Track Tuesday: Top Returners in the 200 and 400 Meters

The 2023 Track and Field Season in Indiana is here and some of the best athletes in the state have already started competing. Even with the start of official practices just about a few weeks away, teams and coaches are already going full force into the season and getting on the track, and field, to see how the offseason has gone so far.

The 200 and 400 meter races are stacked with talent once again. The girls side will see new state champions as North Central's Ramiah Elliott has graduated and now it's time for other athletes to take the next step. Lyric Steele of Charlestown is the highest placing returner from the state meet and will be sure to make some noise this season. Sophomore Olivia Cebalo from Carmel was runner-up in the 400 to Elliott and will look to etch her name in the star studded group of Indiana 400 meter champions.
