Sectional 18- Ben Davis
Ben Davis, Covenant Christian (Indpls), Decatur Central, Herron, Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, Indianapois George Washington,Indianapolis Shortridge, International School of Indiana, Providence Cristo Rey, Riverside, Speedway, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, Perry Meridian, Southport, Tindley, Zionsville
The Ben Davis sectional comes up all Eagles. The Zionsville Eagles that is. Both boys and girls teams come into the tournament as top teams in the State. The girls as top 10 and a potential podium team, the boys as a high podium contender and potentially the runner-up. Both teams are clear of the field and pending the amount of varsity members participating, they should run away with both team titles.
Again, individually it is hard to know exactly who may put on the uniform for this first weekend of the tournament. MacKinsey Heagy and Matthew Helton, both of Zionsville are theoretically the favorites, but again who knows if either or both of them will compete. Either way, expect Zionsville to control this sectional.
