Sectional 17- Brownsburg
Avon, Bethesda Christian, Brownsburg, Cascade, Cloverdale, Danville Community, Greencastle, North Putnam, South Putnam, Plainfield, Crawfordsville, Tri-West Hendricks, Southmont
The Brownsburg sectional is mainly dominated by two teams from the Hoosier Crossroads Conference, Avon and host Brownsburg. Brownsburg is surely the team favorite in the boys team title hunt, but on the girl's side the two schools are almost identical in skill level with front running and a good pack that could lead to an extremely tight team finish between the Orioles and Bulldogs.
Individually, it is Avon stars Jessica Hegedus and Sam Clore that are the clear individual favorites for sectional titles. The runner-up individuals could both be from the same school as well as Veronica Hargrave and Emerson Nehring appear to be the next best rated runners in these fields.
