Notre Dame Meyo Invitational 2011

Notre Dame, Ind. - The University of Notre Dame men's and women's track and field team concluded the first day of the Meyo Invitational at the Loftus Sports Center in Notre Dame, Ind. Rebecca Tracy (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) logged another first-place finish. The sophomore ran 2:48.18 in the 1,000-meter run.

Junior Rachel Patterson finished in second place in the 5000m run Friday as the top finisher for the Miami University women's track and field team on the opening day of the Meyo Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame at the Loftus Center.

Wright, long jumpers have strong showings in NYC; Wagner leads way at Notre Dame

Freshman Dani Bunch and the men's distance medley relay squad paced the Purdue men's and women's track and field teams at the first day of the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational on Friday night.

On the first day of the 24th annual Meyo Invitational, freshman Juli Accurso finished six-tenths of a second shy of setting the Ohio record in the 1000m. The two-day event at the Loftus Sports Center in Notre Dame, Indiana welcomes top track and field talent from across the United States.

The Michigan State track & field team opened action on Friday, Feb. 4 at the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame. The Spartans opened the event strong, placing nine individuals in the top-10 of their respective events. MSU also traveled its throwers to Ashland, Ohio for the Findlay Open hosted by the University of Findlay.

Nick McCampbell had the best time and qualified for tomorrow's (Saturday, Feb. 5) finals in the 60-meter hurdles, and three other Wolverines scored top-three finishes on day one of the Meyo Invitational.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Chris Wolfe and Kim Grieshaber led the University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams on Friday, the first day of competition, at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind., at the Loftus Sports Center.

Senior distance runner Nick Szczech recorded the nation's 10th-fastest time in the 5,000-meter run Friday evening at the Meyo Invitational to win the event in 14:17.52 on the first day of competition.

The University of Alabama men's track and field team completed its first day of competition at the Meyo Invitational Friday at the Loftus Sports Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.

Krystle Schade finished first in the high jump to lead the Alabama women's track and field team on the first day of the Meyo Invitational at the Loftus Center on Notre Dame's Campus.

The distance medley relay team posted an NCAA automatic mark, while Taylor Pogue took top honors in the 5,000-meter run on day one of the Meyo Invitational.
