In this weeks series of Indiana: Most Improved, we take a look at last year's performances from regionals and compare them with this weekend's results to see who made the largest jump.
The top honors for the second week of the tournament would go to Kyla Jeffries from Charlestown where she would take off an impressive 8:07 from her regional perfromance last year at Shelbyville going from a 35:31 to a 27:24. Up at New Prairie Chloe Neal from Lake Central would make the next largest leap in performance going from a 25:00 last year on that course as a freshman to a 18:53 this year as a sophomore. She would make a crazy improvement going from a 219th place finish last year to one of the top finishers this year and a key contributor to the Lake Central front runner group with her 6th place effort. Next up as the third largest improvement would be Kaitlyn Spurgeon from Martinsville in the Evansville Mater Dei Regional. She would drop 5:45 off of her time going from a 26:08 to a 20:22.
