In this weeks series of Indiana: Most Improved, we take a look at last year's performances from sectionals and compare them with this weekend's results to see who made the largest jump.

The top honors for the first week of the tournament would go to Andrea Brogan from South Decatur as she would make an improvement of 8:30 between Sectional 21 last year and this year at Brown County. She would go from a 35:22 last year to a 26:52 this past weekend to come close to a new PR. Her personal best comes from the Hope Heritage Days XC Classic this year where she would run 26:38 for a top 20 finish. The second most improved would go to Rylee Reese from Jac-Cen-Del as she would go from a 37:42 last year to a 31:15 at this year's sectional meet at Southwestern (Hanover). This weekend would be a big one for her as she would earn about a 1:45 PR at the sectional championships according to our database.
