In the boys race at the Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championships Sam Quagliaroli would pull away from the field early where he would create a 10+ second gap by the time the boys entered the woods for the first time. Sam would cruise to a 15:05 in his final high school race on the Noblesville course. John Libs, a Junior from Noblesville, would finish runner-up with an impressive 15:22 despite some muddy spots. Behind him a trio of Bulldogs would prove themselves as one of the favorites for the state title as they all ran under 15:50. They would score 36 points over runner-up Noblesville who scored 61 points.
Up at Culver Academies Noah Bontrager would dominate the field with nearly a 30 second victory. He would run a 15:31 in the elements with Elkhart teammates Max Malloy and Aaron Richter who were just over 16 minutes. On the team side the Carmel boys would win a close race over cross state visitors from LaGrange (Lyons) from Illinois and Northridge with a score of 70-82-86.
In one of the toughest conditions in the entire state Jackson Nolan would take the win at the Jasper Wildcat Invitational. He ran a 16:05 to knock off sophomore sensation Calvin Seitz by 8 seconds. INCCStats would also give this course the largest adjustments of every course this past weekend with a -30 second adjustment for the boys. Columbus North would continue their success as one of the state's top teams this year with a dominant 50 point victory.
At the Highland Invitational Mason Nobles would run a 14:55 on a course that was reportedly closer to 3 miles than 5K. Jalen Strietelmeir would take home runner-up with a 15:22. Valparaiso would beat Lake Central 31-57 in the team scores for the boys.
Zane Meyer would take home the win at the New Haven Invitational AAA race with a time of 15:56. He would lead a pair of runners under the 16 minute mark. The Homestead boys would have a great day with five of their runners placing in the top 20.
