In our newer series Indiana: Most Improved, we take a look at last year's performances from this week (9/4/2023 through 9/10/2023) and compare them to performances from this past week (9/9/2024 through 9/15/2024) to see who made the largest jump.

This week's top honors for the girls would go to Rendy Zhong from Columbus North who improved by an impressive 5 minutes. Her performances would be from the Brown County Eagle Classic in both years with her time going from a 25:36.6 to a 20:15.2 for an improvement of 5:21.4. Isabelle Sylvester from Owen Valley would have the next biggest jump in performance going from a 25:24.4 to a 22:02.6 with her perfromances also coming from the Brown County Eagle Classic. Averi Mullins from Castle would be the third most imrpoved girls of the week going from 25:45 to 22:24 for a 3:20 improvement. This week 3 additional girls would have an improvement of 3 minutes or more with 13 more have improvemnts of 2 minutes or more.
