Boys 60m
Jaidyn Johnson from Bloomington North started his indoor campaign with similar momentum from the outdoor season last spring where he was a state qualifier and claimed the Conference Indiana 100m title as well as running a time of 10.76 at the Mustang Invitational. He ran a 6.88 to lead 2 other runners under the 7 second mark and is also tied for 8th in the country according to our database.

Boys 60m Hurdles
Robert Burns from Ben Davis ran to a victory earlier this month besting the rest of the field by nearly 2 tenths of a second with a 8.31. This is a noticeable improvement upon his season best from last indoor season where he ran to an 11th place finish in the prelims at the Large School division at the HSR prelims in Bloomington.

Boys 200m
Caleb Kelly from Plymouth would finish runner-up with a time of 22.19 behind Ohio's Jamier Averette-Brown

Boys 400m
Dominic Calhoun dominated the field with a margin of victory over 1.4 seconds with a 50.52 which ranks third in the U.S. very early into the indoor season. He would also run to a 3rd place finish in the 60m Dash the same day with a 6.99. Dominic recently committed to The Ohio State University this past fall after taking the outdoor state title last year in the 200m and state runner-up honors in the 100m with times of 21.30 and 10.57 respectively.

Boys 3200m
Nick Spielman would be able to easily take the win and be the only runner to break 10 minutes in the field and state so far with his 9:53.07. He was not far off of his PR from last season according to our database as he recorded a 9:47.20 at the IHSAA Regional meet. This past cross country season the senior ran a 16:02 at FlashRock and was the 4th man for the Fort Wayne Concordia team that placed 7th at state this past cross country season.

Boys Long Jump
Michael Starks III would finish half an inch behind Ohio's Key'Shawn Garrett. His jump of 21' 5.5" would be almost a foot further than last week at the Mastodon Opener collegiate meet.

Boys Pole Vault
Kyle Quaid-Bowman would finish runner-up with a mark of 12' 6" to have a half foot lead on the rest of Indiana's performances so far. He would finish behind Eric Pugh from Ohio who vaulted to a mark that ranks sixth in the country.

Boys Shot Put
University of Notre Dame commit Luke Himes dominated the meet winning by an impressive margin of over 10 feet with his mark of 62' 07" which ranks as the top throw in the country so far this season. Last season Himes went undefeated in the outdoor season including a state championship and a personal best throw of 67'10" at a quad meet. He also finished runner-up at the New Balance Nationals Indoor meet last year.
