Top 200 Sophomore and Junior XC Performances in 2021 - Girls

The two classes coming back as to-be Juniors and Seniors could be one of the best set of a two year cycles as Indiana has seen in a long time. Returning state champion and National Runner-Up Lily Cridge from Bishop Chatard leads the was with an almost unbelievable time of 16:22. 

Julia Kiesler from Columbus North ran a phenomenal time of 17:09 at the Running Lane National Championships. Sophia Kennedy and her teammate, Gretchen Farley, both of Park Tudor, were Eastbay National Championships finalists. Kennedy finished as Second Team All-American with Farely taking Honorable Mention honors.

Lily Baker (Columbus North), Jasmine Klopstad (Carmel), and Clara Crain (Edgewood) have all broken 18:00 and return for a senior season.

The incoming Junior class is not far behind. They return six girls at 18:30 or faster. Nicki Southerland from Delta leads the way with a national-class time of 17:27. Addison Knoblauch from Homestead had a great IHSAA postseason and ran runner-up at the Midwest Championships in Terre Haute.
