Zoe Duffus Recipient of Ms Cross Country Award


Every year, the IATCCC awards one female cross country athlete with the "Ms Cross Country" award. For 2020, the recipient of the Ms Cross Country award is Zoe Duffus of Fort Wayne Carroll High School.

Duffus had 4 1st place finishes in 2020, including at the IHSAA Cross Country Sectional 12 - FW Northrop and IHSAA Cross Country Semi-State 3 - New Haven. Duffus capped off her senior XC campaign at the IHSAA Cross Country State Championships with a 2nd place finish, crossing the line in 18:02.

Duffus has already kicked off her 2021 indoor track season at the Youngstown State Open/High School Meet #2. She was 2nd in the 1600 with a time of 5 flat, and was 1st in the 800 with a time of 2:20. Duffus will look to capture her first individual state title before heading to Penn State to begin her collegiate career!
