Sectional 2 - Hebron
The Hebron sectional will feature two of the region's best girls teams with the reigning champions Lowell and 20-time sectional champions Crown Point. Lowell is led by Karina James, whose best time of 18:10 is 17th best in the state and should be enough to handle the field on Saturday. Crown Point boasts a very balanced team, with six runners under 21:00 this season. Crown Point's sixth and seventh runners could play a big role in this one, as they try to take points away from the fifth runner from Lowell.
Crown Point will look to become back-to-back sectional champions in the boys race. The Bulldogs could put seven runners in the top fifteen, and are poised to make a deep tournament run with all of their runners capable of running under 17:30.
The Hebron sectional will begin at 10:00 AM Central Time.
