The Michigan State track & field team continued action with day two of the NCAA Opening Rounds in Bloomington, Ind., on Friday, May 27. Sophomore Codi Mattix recorded a career-best leap in the men's pole vault to become just the fourth Spartan to advance to the NCAA Championships in two weeks. Junior Leslie Aririguzo was also a bright spot for MSU individually in the women's 100m hurdles.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - It was another solid day for the University of Louisville track and field teams at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds on Friday at Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in Bloomington, Ind., as the Cardinals filled five more slots at the NCAA finals, and now have advanced six athletes in seven events for Des Moines, Iowa.

With the weather a little bit better than the first day of competition, the UCF track & field team continued its weekend at the NCAA East Preliminary Round Friday, hosted by Indiana at Robert C. Haugh Track. The day was highlighted by all three of the Knights in the national quarterfinals of the 100 meters advancing to the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa June 8-11.
