Indiana Relays 2011

The Miami University women's track and field team broke a school record in the 4x800m relay that had stood for 25 years while five RedHawks posted top-five individual finishes on the second and final day of the Indiana Relays, held at Indiana University's Gladstein Fieldhouse Saturday.

On the opening day of the Indiana Relays Friday, hosted by Indiana University at Gladstein Fieldhouse, four members of the Miami University women's track and field team placed in the top five of their respective events while five RedHawks advanced to Saturday's track semifinals.

The Grand Valley State men's track and field team competed in day one of the Indiana Relays on Friday evening (Jan. 28). The Lakers will race in the final day of the meet on Saturday starting at 10:20 a.m. in Bloomington, Ind. Live Results will be provided and can be found at the link below.

Andy Bayer and Chelsea Blanchard followed up Big Ten Athlete of the Week performances in the 3,000 meters a week ago with elite performances in the mile at the Indiana Relays. Bayer clocked a world-leading time for the second-straight weekend.

Alisha Cole won the invitational section of the 200-meter dash and Alex Leptich crossed first in the mile run as U-M opened action at the Indiana Relays.
