Indiana Relays 2010

Strong efforts from the jumps team helped the University of Toledo track and field team to a solid finish on the second day of the unscored Indiana Relays Saturday in Bloomington, IN. Freshman Kiah Douglas (Saginaw, MI) finished fourth in the long jump at 18-00.50.

The Redhawks track and field team used the momentum from a solid opening day of the Indiana Relays on Friday and turned in another solid performance in the final day of competition at Gladstein Fieldhouse on Saturday. Overall the Redhawks recorded 13 top-ten finishes including three top-three finishes on the day.

Indiana track and field closed out the Indiana Relays with nine NCAA-qualifying performances, including two automatic marks. After six NCAA marks on day one, Jeff Coover and Andrew Poore led the way as the Hoosiers posted three more. Coover became the school's third jumper to clear 18 feet in the pole vault, posting an NCAA auto mark in the process. Poore recorded the fastest 5,000m ever at Gladstein Fieldhouse.

The DePaul men's and women's track and field squads put forth spectacular performances during the first day of the Indiana Relays, including 11 BIG EAST Conference qualifying marks, an NCAA provision qualification, and the breaking of two school records.

With the first day of the Indiana Relays in the books, the Bears boast one event win as well as several personal bests. Mareneika Goffe continued her stellar 2010 indoor season with her third-straight high jump win.

The University of Toledo track team wrapped up a successful opening day at the Indiana Relays with several top finishes Friday in Bloomington, IN. Julie Snyder paced the team as she tied for second in the high jump (5-04.25) and finished fifth in the long jump in 17-06.00.

Junior Kelley Miller had a record-setting performance to lead the Miami University women's track and field team to a strong showing on the opening day of the Indiana Relays Friday in Gladstein Field House.

Indiana track and field had a banner day on day one of the Indiana Relays. Leading the way was sophomore Andy Bayer who became the first Hoosier to finish the mile in under four minutes at Gladstein Fieldhouse. Molly Beckwith posted the best mile time in Div. I this season, and three other Hoosiers posted NCAA qualifying marks in the mile. Kristen Crawford posted an NCAA mark in the weight throw as well.
