Meet Information
Silver Creek Dragon Invitational will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Silver Creek Primary School, 8604 Commerce Park Dr., Sellersburg, Indiana 47172.
This year the meet with be automatic timing provided by Above and Beyond Timing Above and Beyond Timing
(www.abtiming.com).Ensure rosters are loaded in Direct Athletics and Milesplit.
Course maps will be available upon your arrival or you can email me if you want it ahead of time (see at the bottom of this page).

Trinity Lutheran. - DATE: Tuesday, September 24, 2024
- TIME: 5:45 PM - The Girls race will start at 5:45 and the Boys 'race will follow immediately after.
- COACHES MEETING: 5:30 pm (teams will work with timing company immediately for any
changes upon arrival). - Box Assignments will be in alphabetical order by school and numbered (IE: Austin box #1, Borden box #2). Standing on the starting line preparing to race Box #1 will be to the FAR RIGHT (next to the white pole).
- ENTRY FEE: $120 for Girls, $120 for Boys (no more than $240 for both teams), or $10 per Individual /// Checks payable to: Silver Creek High School Athletics; 601 Renz Avenue, Sellersburg, IN 47172
- DRIVING DIRECTIONS: (from I-65): Take exit 9 towards Sellersburg. Follow US-31 for roughly .7 miles. Turn slight right onto IN-403. Turn right onto Commerce Park Dr., which leads you into the Primary School. Course located just west of the primary school. We have a YELLOW XC house around the start/finish line.
- BUSES: Parking and athlete drop off will be available at the Primary School adjacent to Cross Country Course
(paved road right next to Start /Finish line, busses will park here). - ADMISSION:$6 per vehicle for the meet; parking will be at the Primary School (cash or card reader on site).
- CONCESSIONS (drinks): Onsite provided by Silver Creek Athletic Department.
- TEAM PACKETS: Coaches will pick up team packets near the finish line upon arrival to the course. Course maps and race information will be provided in your packet.
- TEAM CAMPS: Areas designated on both sides of the start/finish line are available for tents/camps.
- PLEASE HELP PICK UP ANY TRASH IN YOUR AREA WHEN YOU LEAVE. Trash cans onsite and trash bags on hand for anyone that needs one
for camp. - RESTROOMS: Restrooms are available via port-a-johns. Come dressed and ready to compete, Locker rooms are not provided.
- AWARDS: We will conduct an awards banquet right after the Boys race (at the finish line). Team
awards given will be Team Champions and Runner up Plaques for both boys and girls. First and Second
Individual runners will receive a plaque.Places 3-15 will receive ribbons. Ties will go to the sixth runner
