The DePaul track and field teams competed at both the Alex Wilson Invitational and the Iowa State NCAA Qualifier during this last-chance weekend, and finished the competitions with two new school records. Athletes from the Oklahoma Track and Field program will split this weekend to three different locations across the nation for NCAA Last Chance Qualifiers in hopes of securing a time or mark for entry to the NCAA Indoor Championships. Athletes who hit NCAA automatic qualifying marks will be added to the NCAA field while athletes who wish to be added without an automatic mark must record an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. The NCAA allows a maximum of 284 athletes in both the men's and women's fields with a minimum field of 14 entries in each individual event and 10 entries in each relay event.

Coming off a fourth-place finish at the Mid-American Conference Championships last weekend, the Miami University women's track and field team heads to South Bend, Ind. for the Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, this weekend.

The Alex Wilson Invitational provides the Hoosiers with one last chance at qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships. The invitational will open at 5 p.m. ET on Fri., March 5 and continue at 10:30 a.m. ET on Sat., March 6. Five Hoosiers are breathing easy with automatic qualifying marks. Others are comfortable with their spot on the national list. For everyone else, the Alex Wilson Invitational will be the place to lower times and improve marks.
