Meet Information

  • Early Check-in Friday night at the meet headquarters hotel - more info to comeHotels - Indianapolis is hosting the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament March 22 and 24.
  • No Practice sessions will be offered at the Pavilion
  • All athletes must arrive at the same time with their team to receive a meet packet (similar to the outdoor state meet). Only coaches will be given the meet packet. Athletes and coaches must be wearing wristbands provided in their packet in order to enter Fall Creek Pavilion. Remember, there will be no team payment at the door.
  • 1A, 2A, 3A  HSR field events and running events start at 9:30 amDoors open at 8:00 am.
  • 4A, 5A, 6A HSR field events and running events start at 4:30 pmPlease respect the earlier meet that will be competing when you arrive
  • The meet will be run by IHSAA rulesAll athletes must compete in school uniforms.Here is the contract with instructions on how to return it.
  • Lap races and straightaway races will be run separately.  No races will be run simultaneously.

Spectator Information

  • Tickets will be $10 and must be purchased online - more details to come
  • Parking at the Indiana State Fair Grounds will be $10

FIELD EVENTS

  • The high jump competition will not begin until the sprint finals are completed.
  • In the long jump & shot put - All jumps & throws measured
  • Opening Heights for 2024
    • Pole Vault
    • High Jump
  • 1/4 pyramid spikes only
  • Starting blocks will be provided by Fall Creek Pavilion, no outside blocks will be permitted.
  • Shots will be provided and no individual shots will be permitted.
  • Attention: all DMR coaches. You are required to be at the finish line to take splits and assist your runners to get into the exchange zone at the correct time. You will be provided a split sheet that will be turned in at the conclusion of the race.
  • Top 8 place winners will receive medals. There will be a presentation of medals at the awards stand inside the track near the middle of the straightaway.  Please have your athletes participate in the presentation. Coaches and parents are encouraged to take pictures from the bleachers at the presentation.
  • The Hoosier State Relays will be team scored in each division. The scoring is:Individuals 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1Relays 20-16-12-10-8-6-4-2
  • Top 2 teams in both classes boys and girls will receive a Hoosier State Relays plaque that will be presented at the end of each meet. Watch the scoreboards for updated team totals.
