2022 Big Blue Relays

Participating Schools: Jennings County, Bedford-North Lawrence, Brownstown Central, Madison
Entry Fee: $100.00 per school
Entries: Please double check your rosters in the event you need alternates.
Scratch Meeting: At 5:00 in front of the press box.
Awards & Scoring: Five places will be scored (10,8,6,4,1) Ribbons will be given for 1st place through 5th place. Team trophies for the winning teams will also be presented.
Limitations: Individuals will be allowed to participate in any four events.
Individual events: 110 high hurdles, 100 high hurdles, 100 dash, and 3200 run. Schools may enter two athletes per event. The top five times, regardless of the race, will place.
Field Events: Results are based on two person totals. Schools may enter three athletes per event, with the top two performers best marks added to determine the six places.
Relay Events: The typical meet relays will be run: 4 x 100, 4 x 400, and 4 x 800. In addition, there will be a Distance Medley Relay (1200-400-800-1600), a Sprint Medley Relay (100-100-200-400), and a 4 x 200 Relay.
Special Events:
Throwers 4 x 100 Relay: All four participants in this event must have participated in discus and/or shot put competitions during your season. The discus will be the baton.
Boys Shuttle Hurdle Relays: Run over 5 hurdles with 45 feet to the first hurdle with 30 feet between hurdles and 45 feet to the finish. The 1st and 3rd hurdlers will run high hurdles (39) and the 2nd and 4th will run low hurdles (30).
Girls Shuttle Hurdles: Run over 5 hurdles (30) with 428 to the first hurdle and 2710 between hurdles and 428 to the finish line.
