TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Boise State junior Emma Bates captured the prestigious 2013 ISU Pre-National Invitational women’s 6-kilometer blue race title, Saturday morning, leading the Bronco women to an 11th-place finish (443-points).
Former Xavier College prep runner Jessica Tonn (Stanford) finished 4th today at Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute Indiana. Tonn finished in a time of 20:12.84 over the 6K course, just 2 seconds behind teammate Aisling Cuffe and 3 second out from first place.
The Boilermaker cross country teams competed at the Pre-Nationals hosted by Indiana State on Saturday. The Purdue men finished 26th while the women took 39th. (via www.purduesports.com)
With the forecast over the LeVern Gibson Championship Cross-Country course being cold and rainy athletes still showed up to perform on the national stage for the 2013 Pre-National meet.
