Here are the top 100 boys all-time performances from Dogwood Track Classic.

A rankings list of the top 25 boys performers among Virginia high school private school athletes and relays in each indoor track & field event leading up to this Saturday's VISAA State Indoor Championships at St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virgina.

A list of the top 50 high school boys performances in each indoor track & field event in the state of Virginia regardless of classification as of January 27th, 2014 according to performances & results entered in the MileStat.com database.

  A list of the top 50 indoor track & field returnees per event among private school boys. Woodberry Forest senior Eric Ways is setup well to go for the sprint triple and go after VISAA state titles in the 55, 300, and 500 meter dash races as the fastest returning sprinter in all three events with PR's of 6.58 in the 55, 35.47 in the 300, and 1:05.58 in the 500. Ways is one of the fastest returning quarter milers in the state of Virginia including public school athlete athletes after running a PR of 47.73 during this past summer's track season. 

A list of the top returning individuals in each event among private schools from last year's outdoor season and links to full returnees rankings lists in each event.  Fork Union Military Academy senior Clyde Gross (pictured by Tom Veazey) is the defending VISAA state champion in the 110 (14.69) and 300 (39.71) meter hurdles, but also the fastest returnee in the 200 meter dash at 22.14. 

Oscar Smith's Michael Cherry is clearly the state's best quarter miler, but the state's next great 400 meter runner may not far be too far behind him and waiting for his claim as the best next year in Woodberry Forest School junior Eric Ways. Ways is actually a native and resident of Durham, North Carolina, but spends his entire school year at a boarding school in Woodberry Forest, Virginia. This past summer, Ways broke through into the 48 second range in the open 400 and won a USATF Junior Olympic National title in the event.

  Private school boys virtual meet pre-season preview for the upcoming 2012-2013 indoor track & field season. Virtual meet pre-season preview includes the top 8 returning individual performers from the 2011-2012 indoor season performances (relays are not included). Hurdler Clyde Gross will lead the Fork Union boys as the team favorites in the VISAA. Gross was a state champion last spring in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles after finishing fifth indoors in the 55 meter hurdles.

Top-flight athletes from around the state have decided to join the Elite events on April 28th.
