Carmel competed in the Lawrence North Wildcat Reserve XC Invite at Northview and won in convincing fashion with 16 points. Other teams included Zionsville (52), Hamilton Southeastern (96), Lawrence North (100), Warren Central (134), Noblesville (153), Roncalli (223), North Central (257), Lawrence Central (258) and Pike (308).
Individual winner was Carmel's Collin McMahon in 16:42.78. Additional Greyhound runers were freshman Thomas Revard (2nd in 16:45.30), Daniel Sechuga (3rd in 16:47.33), Kyle Hook (4th in 17:03.34), Michael Lukovic (6th in 17:07.12), Zach Horowitz (12th in 17:24.60), Josh Horowitz (13th in 17:27.01), Jace Wisdorf (14th in 17:27.70), Andrew Kalthoff (16th in 17:29.94), Alex Cashbaugh (17th in 17:33.19), Sepaus Crawford (19th in 17:34.09), Trevor Witta (20th in 17:34.60), Kyle Weaver (25th in 17:40.72) and Matthew Croaning (28th in 17:48.01).
Carmel's Top Freshmen will next compete in the Warren Central Freshman Invitational on Tuesday October 2nd and the Varsity will run at the MIC Championships at Ben Davis on Wednesday October 3rd.
