Sectional 25- Brown County
Brown County, Brownstown Central, Columbus East, Columbus North, Edinburgh, Hauser, Martinsville, Seymour, Southwestern (Shelbyville), White River Valley
The Brown County sectional is mostly dominated by the Columbus North Bulldogs. Both North teams are potential podium contenders and the girls especially are state title contenders. Neither team should be challenged here and you may even expect to see some athletes outside the top 7 run for these two teams on their way to sectional victories.
Individually, outside of the Columbus North runners, host Brown County has two high caliber runners of their own that may compete for the top spots. Seniors Hadley Gradolf and Chase Austin could contend for the win based on which Bulldogs participate. Martin Barco of Martinsville is another boys individual to watch for as the tournament unfolds.
