Boys Team Preview

After last year's dominating performance for the Cougars, the 2022 battle expects to be much closer. Just like the girls competition, the boys meet will most likely come down to the Cougars and the Bulldogs. The distance events are likely to be a wash as both BN and CN have both been stellar in the distance events this track season. The next big chunk of scoring for the Bulldogs score will come from the throws as the top thrower in the state, Tucker Smith, is almost a lock to take two first place finishes in shot put and discus. The Cougars will counter with the potential to score high points in both hurdle races. Just like on the girls side, both teams will be looking to put together any other points they can in hopes to help propel them as Conference Indiana team champions.

Boys projected team scores by seeds:

  1. Bloomington North- 137 ⅚

  2. Columbus North- 128 ⅚

  3. Bloomington South- 92

  4. Southport- 62

  5. Terre Haute South- 42

  6. Terre Haute North- 30 1/3
