Brion Stephens Jumps 7'1 at UIndy!


Brion Stephens from Warren Central, jumping unattached, competed last Saturday at the Indianapolis Track Classic hosted by the University of Indianapolis. Competing mostly against collegiate jumpers, Stephens cleared a high school nation-leading mark of 2.17m- roughly 7'1.5.

Stephens is a senior at Warren Central and one of the top returning high jumpers in a talented returning field from last season.

Stephens was the Sectional and Regional champion last season in the high jump. In the Warren Central Regional, Stephens jumped 7-0 to establish himself as one of the best jumpers in the Midwest. Stephens then finished 11th at the IHSAA State Finals.
