MileSplit Indiana talks with Steury after his win at XC State
Angola Senior Izaiah Steury had been named the 2020-2021 Indiana Boys Gatorade Cross Country Athlete of the Year. Steury won the 2020 IHSAA Cross Country State Championships in a time of 15:23 and was 17th at RunningLane National Cross Country Championships where he earned a PB of 14:47.
Steury went undefeated in Indiana last cross country season, and has made himself known over the course of the last year.
Steury will be chasing another state title this track season where he is one of the favorites in both the 1600 and 3200 where he holds PB of 4:12 and 8:57 respectfully.
