Addy Wiley and Zoe Duffus Shine at SPIRE Scholastic Showcase

On Sunday, the SPIRE Scholastic Showcase took place in Geneva, Ohio.

A handful of Indiana athletes travelled over to compete, but one of the biggest headlines was the performance by Addy Wiley and Zoe Duffus in the 1600.

We knew the times would be fast with a loaded field, but exactly how fast?

Wiley and Duffus began to chase down Stanford commit Audrey Dadamio with about 300m to go, but weren't able to get on her heels. Dadamio crossed the line in 4:40.65, with Wiley coming in 2nd in 4:45.77 and Duffus just behind her in 4:46.03.

The two have now both made their case as an early favorite in the 1600.

Wiley and Duffus are now IN #1 and IN #2 all time for the indoor 1600.
