2020 IHSAA Regional Previews: 9-12

Regional 11 - Rushville

Franklin Central looks poised to dominate IHSAA Regional #11 hosted Rushville. The Flashes could put five runners in the top ten of both the boys and girls races this weekend, which should be more than enough to secure a pair of regional championships.

If there is a girls team that could challenge Franklin Central, it's New Palestine. Brenna Shaw and Emma Mann led the Dragons to a one point victory over Franklin Central last week by taking the top two spots. Shaw and Mann could take the top two spots in this regional, but it will be difficult for New Palestine to keep up with Franklin Central as it gets more crowded at the front.

Mount Vernon brings the third best girls team to this regional. Warren Central and Roncalli would also be expected to advance to the semi-state next week.

Franklin Central should easily handle the boys race, and could sweep the top four spots. Mount Vernon comes in as the second best team in this regional, while Greenfield Central and Warren Central fight for third. Rushville, New Castle and Roncalli will race for the last transfer spot.

Racing from Rushville will get started at 10:30 AM Eastern Time.
