Sectional 23 - South Dearborn
Greensburg's Brenner Hanna is the star of Sectional #23. The Senior has notched wins at the Rick Weinheimer Cross Country Classic, the Greensburg Invitational and the Franklin Community Invitational. Her best time of 18:09 is 15th in the state.
Batesville is the clear favorite to win a pair of team sectional championships. In the boys race, expect East Central to finish second with Oldenburg Academy and Greensburg fighting for third. Rising Sun and Jac-Cen-Del should have a good battle for the last spot in the regional.
Greensburg and East Central will have a tight race for second in the girls race, with South Ripley not far behind. Jac-Cen-Del and South Dearborn will have to race for fifth and the opportunity to run again next week.
