Sectional 25 - Brown County
Columbus North is one of strongest programs in the state, and both the Bulldog boys and girls should contend for the state championship. They boast five boys that can run under 16:00, and seven girls that have run under 19:20. Columbus North's run to the state tournament begins at Sectional #25 hosted by Brown County.
Seymour's boys come in as the second best team in Sectional 25. Martinsville and Brown County should be expected to advance, while Brownstown Central, Hauser and White River Valley fight for the last transfer spot.
Brown County and Seymour will have a tight race for second in the girls race. Columbus East and Martinsville should also advance to next week's regional.
The Brown County Sectional will begin at 10:30 AM Eastern Time.
