Earlier this evening, Fort Wayne Carroll senior Zoe Duffus made her decision as to where she will continue her academic and athletic career. Duffus made herself known early, running 4:55 for 1600m at the 2017 Indiana Middle School Miracle Mile. Duffus's HS PB's include 2:14 (800), 4:53 (1600), 10:48 (3200), and 17:27 (5K). Duffus enters the 2020 XC season as one of the favorites to win the state title after a 6th place finish at the 2019 IHSAA Cross Country State Championships.
Duffus posted earlier on Instagram announcing her commitment to Penn State University!
Duffus will be a key addition to the Penn State program who have finished in the top-20 for five consecutive years at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
