Lucas Guerra Breaks Down Recruiting Process During Pandemic

We talk with Lucas Guerra about his college recruiting process this year!

Lucas Guerra competed at the Jack Bransford Invitational on Saturday where he ran 15:43.70 over 5K, breaking the LaPorte course record that was set by Mike Fout, who won the 2007 Indiana State Cross Country Meet and later followed that up with a win at Foot Locker Nationals

Any other year, most college seniors would at least have a Top 7 list if not a verbal commitment. This year is a lot different. With colleges shutting down during a time when athletes would be visiting, it's made the college recruiting process very difficult. Not only that, but college coaches aren't able to attend high school meets to scout potential athletes. We spoke with Lucas Guerra after his win to discus what his recruiting process has looked like during this pandemic.
