Goddard is a great team player and is versatile in any spot he is put in. He ran every event a distance kid could run this past spring, earning new PR's in everything. Unfortunately for him, he races in one of the toughest Regionals around and did not get a chance to race at the state meet. He looks to be the front man this fall for the Orioles. He holds a 15:43 5K PR from the HCC Meet last fall, where he took 3rd overall. He was 43rd at the state meet, but just like a few others Lavern got the best of him and it was simply not his day out there.
