Carmel Wins MIC Championships

Carmel ran in today's MIC Championship and won with 43 points.  Additional teams included Terre Haute South (76), Lawrence North (84), North Central (86), Warren Central (141), Center Grove (168), Ben Davis (172), Terre Haute North (193), Lawrence Central (205) and Pike (211).  Individual winner was Joseph Murphy of Lawrence North in 15:35.3.  Carmel runners included Michael George (4th in 15:50.4), Robert Browning (7th in 15:56.7), Thomas Revard (9th in 15:59.6), Benjamin Anderson (10th in 16:02.7), Joshua Horowitz (13th in 16:07.6), Zachary Leinheiser (15th in 16:13.9) and Kyle Hook (50th in 17:46.4).
 
Carmel also won the Open race with 16 points.  Running for Carmel were Daniel Sechuga (1st in 16:21.4), Collin McMahon (2nd in 16:43.8), Zach Horowitz (3rd in 16:45.1), Andrew Kalthoff (4th in 16:48.2), Ben Hatfield (6th in 17:09.9), Alexander Cashbaugh (7th in 17:12.5), Teddy Browning (8th in 17:23.6), James Holland (10th in 17:31.3), Matt Croaning (12th in 17:37.4), James Pescio (21st in 17:44.1) and Elijah St. Angelo (22nd in 17:45.0).

Carmel will next compete in the Noblesville Sectional on Tuesday October 15, 2013.
