Carmel Takes Hamilton County Title

Carmel competed in today's always competitive Hamilton County Meet running a strong race to win with 22 points.  Following the Greyhounds were Fishers (67), Westfield (85), Hamilton Southeastern (108), Noblesville (122), Guerin Catholic (122), Hamilton Heights (219) and University (249).  Individual winner was Calvin Kraft of Fishers in 15:32.17.  Running for the Greyhounds were Ben Veatch (2nd in 15:41.19), Ben Anderson (3rd in 15:50.23), Robert Browning (4th in 15:51.82), Michael George (6th in 16:08.09), Joshua Horowitz (7th in 16:11.05), Kyle Hook (9th in 16:18.65), Zachary Leinheiser (12th in 16:22.64), Alexander Cashbaugh (13th in 16:22.84), Collin McMahon (18th in 16:38.58), Daniel Sechuga (31st in 17:06.36), Elijah St. Angelo (45th in 17:31.13) and Matthew Croaning (70th in 19:19.72).
 
Carmel also won the Reserve race with 17 points followed by Fishers (46), Hamilton Southeastern (76), Westfield (123), Noblesville (150), Guerin Catholic (174) and University (225).  The individual winner was Carmel's Thomas Revard in 17:07.25.  Top Carmel runners included Andrew Kalthoff (2nd in 17:12.99), Zach Horowitz (3rd in 17:26.29), Jordan Ehrlich (4th in 17:29.61), Drew Watson (7th in 17:40.74), Evan Bouillet (8th in 17:47.35), Ben Hatfield (9th in 17:50.17), Kyle Weaver (11th in 17:51.39) and Jonah Nichol (12th in 17:55.51).

Carmel will next compete in this Saturday's State Meet Preview in Terre Haute.
