APACHE INVITATIONAL
WABASH HIGH SCHOOL TRACK

Location: Wabash High School - Alumni Field
Admission: $7 per spectator (Kindergarten age and up)
Entry Fee: $75 per team (Boys $75 and Girls $75) (If Both - $150)

The scoring system is in accordance with the Federation Rulebook.
Trials will run according to the time listed for each event. Each trial will not start before the time listed.
Once finals start we will use a rolling schedule. During the finals, when races can begin ahead of schedule, they will. Please have your athletes listen carefully to the P.A. and report to the staging area.
All athletes in running events should check in with the clerk of the course at 2nd call or before under the tent by the 100m start line.
The pole vault will start at 70 for boys and 60 for girls going up 6 at a time to 12 with the bar being raised 3 at a time thereafter. Coaches will be required to provide a pole vault weight certification sheet verifying each vaulter's weight and acknowledge that each vaulter will be using a legal pole.
In the shot put, discus, and long jump, each participant will receive four attempts. An individuals best attempt in any of his/her four efforts will be considered when placing.
The long jump will be cafeteria style. Jumpers have one (1) hour to complete four (4) jumps once the event starts.
The high jump will start at 52 and go up 2 inches at a time to 60 for the boys with the bar being raised 1 thereafter. The girls high jump will start at 42 and go up 2 at a time to 50 with the bar being raised 1 thereafter.
No contestant may participate in more than four events, track and/or field. A relay is an event.
Do not put tape down on the track. Use chalk for marking relay, long jump, high jump, and pole vault take-off points.
Awards:
Trophy to winning team champions
Medals to 1st place finishers, ribbons to 2-7 individual events & 1-7 for relays.
Entries should be done online at Milesplit. Entries will close April 29 at 11:00pm. Three athletes can be entered per individual event. One alternate can be entered per individual event. *NOTE: - do not enter a time or distance for alternates.
Initial scratches are due by 5pm on April 30th by email to Ryan Evans, evansr@apaches.k12.in.us. All final scratches and replacements in by 1:00 pm May 1st to Ryan Evans, evansr@apaches.k12.in.us
The meet will be timed with FinishLynx and uploaded to Milesplit within 24 hours of the conclusion of the meet.
ALL RUNNING events will be clerked at the 100 meter start line and then walked to their respective starting lines.

TEAM CAMPS WILL BE SETUP IN THE GRASS AREAS OUTSIDE THE FACILITY (NORTH SIDE OF PARKING LOT) (BETWEEN PARKING LOT AND FENCED IN AREA)
NO DRINKS, CANDY/GUM, SEEDS ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD.
