2021 New Washington High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Invitational
Teams: Borden, Charlestown, Christian Academy of Indiana, Clarksville, Crothersville, Grace Christian Academy, Henryville, Lanesville, Madison, New Washington, Shawe Memorial, South Central, Trinity Lutheran, West Washington

Location: New Washington Elementary / Track Area (same as previous years)
Distance: 5000 Meters - Boys and Girls Races
Terrain: Flat; grass with a few areas of asphalt
Walk Course: 5:00 EDT (Boys and Girls)
Time: Girls Race5:30 EDT
Boys RaceImmediately following girls race
Open RaceImmediately following boys race - time kept, but no scoring and no awards given; no
entry fee for this race. Boys and girls run together.
Restroom Facilities: Restrooms available. No locker room facilities will be available. Please do not allow
your runners to enter the elementary building.

Girls Championship Team Trophy
Team Ribbons - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place
Individual Medals - 1st through 10th Place
Individual Ribbons - 11th through 25th Place
Entry Fee: $40.00 per team ($80.00 for boys and girls)
Please send entry fee with roster and a signed copy of this letter which takes the place of a contract.
Scoring: Each team may enter seven (7) runners with the first five (5) scoring. Ties will be broken by the placing of the teams sixth place runners.
I.H.S.A.A. Modifications:
1. Runners will be disqualified on the second false start.
2. Shoes which have rubber or leather soles must be worn by all contestants during the event. Cleats are
permitted. A contestant shall be disqualified when both shoes are off.
3. No sun visors, sweat bands, caps, or hats shall be worn during the race.
4. Referee/Starter may allow contestants to wear stocking caps when the weather warrants.
