Senior Olympian Derek Drouin jumped from sixth to fourth in the world Friday night at the Hoosier Hills Invitational after he easily cleared a height of 2.32 m (7-7.25) in the high jump, which won the event (video below). His performance also raised the bar for NCAA high jumpers as Drouin now leads the collegiate world and holds the facility record at Gladstein Fieldhouse, previously set by Mark Reed in 1988 at 2.31 m (7-7).
