East Canton's Taylor comes up big at Meet of Champions

FT. WAYNE, Ind. -- One week after East Canton senior Duke Taylor finished a disappointing second at the OHSAA Division III State Track & Field Championships, the talented thrower made up for it in a big way. Taylor rebounded at the Midwest Meet of Champions, staged at Indiana's Northrop High School on Saturday, with a discus toss of 193-feet to help a team of track and field stars from Ohio (178.50) cruise to a big victory over Indiana (148.50) and Michigan (138.00).
