The Purdue 5K Dog Jog was started in 2010 and allows runners the unique experience of running/walking with their dog(s) in an event. The Dog Jog course starts at the School of Veterinary Medicine (Lynn Hall) and travels through Purdue's esteemed campus. It is scheduled for Saturday, Sept 24th, 2011 at 8am. Animals must be up to date on all Indiana State required vaccinations (Rabies).
Starting in 2012, the Purdue Veterinary Medicine Fall Conference will be returning to Purdue's West Lafayette Campus. As part of the excitement with returning to campus, we will be offering a new event - the Skip Jackson Dog Jog. The new Skip Jackson Dog Jog combines the annual Skip Jackson Conference Road Race and the student-run Dog Jog for a great event that embraces the rich tradition and history of Purdue Veterinary Medicine. The 2012 Skip Jackson Dog Jog will begin from Lynn Hall on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
