In His Own Words: Colin Rinne

This week has been a sweet week so far. The Westfield boys of 2012 recently became the first Westfield team to win the HCC in history. People ran well, not lights out, but well, and we had a really cool experience. Up front, Kraft, DuVall, Reeder, and some others guys and I were battling early on. Troy and Kyle gapped the field a little. I pushed up to them roughly 1.5 miles in after a slight but steep hill (the most infamous hill in Hamilton County courses if you ask me.) Northview has too many slight hills to count. Anyway, Troy won in some time I don't know right now. I was second, my fellow junior from Fishers, Kraft, reppin' third place and @KDuvie024 coming in a strong fourth. After that I have no idea. We edged HSE by two points in a really close battle. I sense some crazy fights to go down later this post season between us. We had a pretty deep week of training leading up to this. It feels good to have a race like that after such a good week of running. Right now Jackson Bertoli and Kyle Duvall are outside my house right now so this one will be quick, I may hop back on the old computer after tonight’s fun activities with the guys and the ladies from Eastern for more info on how I’m doing, like you guys care really.
