The future of the Carmel High School Boys' Cross Country Team was on display today at the Warren Central Freshman Invitational and the future looks quite bright indeed!! Carmel was simply dominant winning with 32 points followed by Franklin Central (98), Brebeuf (99), Zionsville (107), Lawrence North (111), Lawrence Central (118), North Central (140) amd Warren Central (Inc.).
Individual winner was Carmel's Ben Veatch with a time of 12:40 which is the second best time ever on this course. Also running for the Greyhounds were Thomas Revard (6th in 13:30), Matthew Croaning (7th in 13:34), Andrew Trachtman (8th in 13:39), Bryan Miller (10th in 13:42), Bryce Barnett (14th in 13:57), Nolan O'Keefe (15th in 13:59), Zac Leinheiser (17th in 14:03), Peter Steinbart (25th in 14:25), Mikel Frausto (28th in 14:27), Cole Tucker (34th in 14:40), Reid Otto (36th in 14:48) and Alex Jacobsen (41st in 15:25).
The Greyhounds will next compete in tomorrow's MIC Championships at Ben Davis prior to beginning their run at an Indiana State Title with the Noblesville Sectional next Tuesday October 9th.
