Keenan Mowery-Shields (South Putnam) won the shot put at IHSAA Regional 5 with a throw of 65-3.75, improving from his previous best of 59-5.5. The junior's mark ranks #3 in Indiana and #1 among juniors statewide, while setting a South Putnam school record.
Rowen Englebright (North Posey) placed second in the 3200 meters at IHSAA Regional 8 with a time of 11:18.57, improving from 11:42.71. The freshman ranks #77 in Indiana and #15 among freshmen, while establishing a North Posey school record.
Eve Vinson (Heritage Hills) finished third in the 1600 meters at IHSAA Regional 8 in 5:12.30, improving from her previous best of 5:22.67. The mark places her #78 among Indiana's 2,201 athletes in the event.
