BOYS
Corbin ran 15.60 to place fifth at IHSAA Sectional 19 on May 21, a PR that ranks him 95th in Indiana across all grades. His freshman season has shown steady improvement after a modest start: he opened at 18.50, ran 19.00 in mid-April, then dropped sharply to 16.60 at the Pike Invitational and 16.41 in prelims at the Pike HS MIC Boys meet, before posting 16.84 at the Freshman Marion County meet, then his big sectional PR. His 2025 best was 17.41, set at both the MIIC Championships and the Marion County Middle School Championships.
At IHSAA Sectional 7 on May 21, Hively ran 15.72 in prelims to set a PR that ranks him 116th in Indiana across all grades. He opened the season at 17.04 and worked steadily down through a series of dual meets: 17.47, 16.77, 16.77, and 16.42 to place seventh at the NLC Championships on May 12 before his sectional PR. His 2025 outdoor best was 17.11, set at IHSAA Boys Track and Field Sectional 7.
GIRLS
Heath cleared 5-2 to win IHSAA Sectional 15 on May 19, a PR that ranks her 63rd in Indiana across all grades. She spent most of the season clearing 4-10 with a dip to 4-8 at the Guerin Catholic Invitational on Apr. 25. The four-inch jump to 5-2 at sectionals came on her biggest stage of the season. Her 2025 outdoor best was 4-11, set at the WCJC Track and Field meet.
Whorton's postseason arc tells the clearest story of her season. She ran 17.77 in finals at the Zionsville Invitational, then 16.55 in prelims at the Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet 6. At IHSAA Sectional 18 she ran 16.08 in prelims and 16.27 in finals, then cut more than half a second at IHSAA Regional 5 on May 26 with a 15.73 to place seventh - her current PR that ranks her 74th in Indiana across all grades. Her 2025 outdoor best was 16.74, set at the Zionsville Invitational.
