Indiana Girls Performer of the Week
Make sure to cast your vote for this week's performer of the week here! Every week we will be conducting a poll beginning Monday and ending Thursday to highlight performances from the previous week. This will give us an opportunity to showcase some of the best talent in Indiana. Though some athletes will likely run times every week that are worthy of being in the poll, our goal is to showcase a vast array of athletes that win or have notable performances from all parts of the state. Once an athlete earns a performer of the week title they will be ineligible for the following weeks, this will allow for new names to pop up each week to celebrate various accomplishments.
Each week's poll can be found in the "More Articles in Series" link below. A brief summary of each week's winner can also be found under the poll
Girls Performer of the Week from 9/2-9/8: Macey Thompson - Lake Central

This would be Macey's fourth consective win to start the season after taking victories at the Valley Kick Off, Larry James Invitational, and the Rudy Skorupa Invitational. Her time from this past weekend would be the first time in her career that she would break the 18 minute mark with a 17:45.7.
